Julia Has Finally Arrived!
The City of Rome’s Virtual Assistant – here for you 24/7 in 80 languages!
If you’re planning to visit Rome — or maybe you’re already staying with us at the B&B — I’ve got some great news that will make your stay even smoother and more enjoyable: meet Julia, the new virtual assistant from the City of Rome.
Launched just a few days ago, Julia is already a hit with travelers (myself included!). She’s easy to use, packed with helpful info, and available 24/7. Think of her as your personal guide to everything in the Eternal City.
How does it work?
Simply open your browser and go to:
https://julia.comune.roma.it/
You can chat with her through:
- Telegram
- Messenger
- Webchat
And here’s the best part: Julia speaks 80 different languages. So you can ask her anything in your native language — and she’ll reply right away.
What can you ask Julia?
Julia is like having a local Roman walking by your side. Here are just a few things she can help with:
City events: concerts, exhibitions, shows, festivals, and more
Public transport: routes, schedules, and real-time updates
Directions: including maps and traffic alerts
Parking info: nearest available spots
Where to eat, drink, or sleep nearby
Opening hours for museums and landmarks, and even tips on the best time to visit popular spots like the Trevi Fountain (when it’s less crowded!)
Helpful tips to experience Rome like a local
What’s really great about Julia is that she’s also got your back with everyday needs, no matter where you are in the city:
Need a public restroom? Just ask.
Looking for a place to refill your water bottle? She’ll direct you to the nearest Nasone, Rome’s iconic drinking fountains that provide fresh, free water.
Need a pharmacy or emergency room? Julia will show you the closest one and how long the wait is.
Why Julia is great even when you’re staying at our B&B
Here at our B&B, we love helping our guests and giving tips to make the most of their time in Rome. But we also know that when you’re out exploring all day, having a helper like Julia makes a real difference.
With Julia:
- You don’t waste time looking things up
- You get instant, reliable answers
- You can explore with more confidence and independence
So whenever you’re unsure… just ask Julia!

We hope this helpful new tool will make your stay in Rome even better.
And as always, if you need a personal tip or local recommendation, we’re here for you!
See you soon,
